Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Art Director and Graphic Artist for Yachting Lifestyle Magazine. The role involves creative tasks related to overseeing artistic aspects and designing visuals for luxury travel magazine publications. The candidate is required to reside in the United Kingdom. Candidate must have a degree in graphic arts or related field and have extensive magazine design experience.

Skill Requirements

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in conceptualizing and creating visually appealing layouts
• Ability to collaborate with a team and take creative direction
• Understanding color, and visual composition
• Extensive and demonstrated skills in the use of typography to enhance the publication aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the visual direction and design of our luxury travel magazine, ensuring a sophisticated and cohesive look.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to bring captivating travel stories to life through innovative layouts and compelling visuals.
• Oversee all aspects of magazine design, from concept to print-ready files.
• Stay ahead of design trends and incorporate fresh, contemporary elements into our publication.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in magazine design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in luxury or high-end publications.
• Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
