Role Overview:

As a Senior 3D Generalist at Beyond Creative, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic art department. Your responsibilities will span a wide spectrum, from effective communication with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure a shared understanding of project progress, to reviewing and maintaining design consistency across the team. Your contributions to the 3D implementation pipeline will encompass:

• Asset creation
• Material and texture work
• Lighting
• VFX and Animation reviews
• Optimization
• Adapting to client requests for design changes
• Leading fellow artists,
• Crafting immersive User Experience and Fun (UEFN) for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Clear Communication:
  
  Foster transparent communication with project stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding of project status and requirements.
• 
  Quality Assurance:
  
  Review and assess designs generated by fellow artists, ensuring alignment with company standards and artistic vision.
• 
  3D Implementation:
  
  Lead the way in the 3D implementation pipeline, encompassing the creation of assets, materials, textures, lighting, VFX, animation, and optimization.
• 
  Client Collaboration:
  
  Evaluate client requests for design alterations and implement adjustments that fulfill their vision.
• 
  Leadership:
  
  Collaborate with and lead other members of the art department to achieve the desired UEFN for clients.

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 5 years of professional artistic work or equivalent experience, supported by a comparable portfolio showcasing your expertise.
• 
  Leadership:
  
  Demonstrated experience in successfully leading projects, guiding teams to excellence.
• 
  Game Theory:
  
  A profound understanding of game theory and the ability to design with engaging gameplay at the forefront.
• 
  Software Proficiency:
  
  A broad knowledge of 3D production software, such as: Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, Cinema4D, Quixel, Substance, and similar tools.
• 
  Unreal Engine Expertise:
  
  Strong technical prowess in Unreal Engine 5 and the Epic Games’ Digital Content Creation ecosystem and workflows.
• 
  Optimization:
  
  Proven experience in adhering to best practices and optimizing real-time engine performance.
• 
  Shader Authoring:
  
  Proficiency in creating shaders in Unreal Engine.
• 
  Procedural Material Creation
  
  : Experience with Substance Painter/Designer and Quixel Mixer for procedural material creation.
• 
  Self-Motivation:
  
  Self-driven, with an unwavering ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring project success.
• 
  Communication:
  
  Strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate teamwork and project excellence.
• 
  Adaptability:
  
  Willingness to embrace new software and workflows to stay at the forefront of industry trends.

  Ability to receive and execute feedback, ensuring continual improvement in project quality.

  Art Direction:
  
  Comfortable with both stylized and realistic art directions, enabling you to adapt to various creative challenges.
