Graphic Artist


Key Role:


Produces artistic graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and digital communications, including promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials, distributed through a variety of media outlets. Generates creative design concepts and mockups for product and merchandise that align to a well-known brand. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Artist
  • Experience with Adobe CC, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with manipulating vector graphics to produce modern, branded creative
  • Ability to work with the client to define project requirements and provide process advice for optimal visual communication production
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with adhering to brand management guidelines
  • Experience with 3D modeling software
  • Experience working with graphics for merchandise, including licensed material
  • Knowledge of licensed merchandise business practices
  • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to communicate presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
