CyberCoders | Senior 3D Artist – Character & Environment Art!

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior 3D Artist to join our new project in the works! The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating low-poly 3D characters and environment assets that enhance the visual storytelling of our projects. You will work closely with game designers, animators, and other artists to bring concepts to life and contribute to the overall art direction of the game.

We are looking for someone who can match our gritty/dark art style to work seamlessly in our new RTS project.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D character models and environments using Maya and Unreal Engine.
• Collaborate with the art team to develop character art and environmental art that meets project requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance game visuals.
• Optimize 3D assets for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity.
• Assist in the rigging and character animations as needed to ensure the characters are ready for implementation.
• Ensure that all assets adhere to the project’s art style and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in Maya, with expertise in Environment Art and Character Art.
• Experience with Unreal Engine for asset implementation and level design.
• Familiarity with animation, 3D modeling, texturing, and tools such as Zbrush and Substance Painter is a plus.
• Knowledge of RPG and RTS games is preferred, with an understanding of their visual styles and mechanics.
• Strong sketching skills and ability to create 2D concepts for 3D applications.
• Experience with rigging and character animations is a bonus.
• Familiarity with 3DS Max and low poly modeling techniques is advantageous.
