We are seeking a talented Technical Artist with expertise in Unity 3D to join our innovative team, focused on creating immersive architectural experiences. As a Technical Artist, you will play a vital role in aiding the transformation of architectural designs into interactive and visually stunning virtual environments, ensuring that our application achieves both visual excellence and optimal performance running on multiple platforms. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Unity 3D to review and enhance architectural designs with 3D environments, including terrain, vegetation, and dynamic lighting ensuring accuracy and realism.
  • Perform the conversion of Unity scenes and assets from URP to HDRP, ensuring a seamless transition while maximizing visual fidelity.
  • Create and implement shaders to achieve realistic material rendering and lighting effects, enhancing the visual quality of architectural spaces.
  • Optimize project performance through efficient asset management and shader optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and programmers to develop and implement creative solutions that meet project objectives.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization and ideation of custom tools aimed at optimizing workflows, automating processes, and boosting overall project efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing innovative ideas to enhance visualization techniques.


Skills & Tools:

  • Proficiency in Unity 3D, with a strong understanding of its interface, tools, and workflows.
  • Solid knowledge of the Scriptable Render Pipelines URP and HDRP.
  • Solid artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, particularly in the context of architectural visualization.
  • Familiarity with shader development either using HLSL or the Shader Graph tool in the editor, along with experience in creating realistic material shaders.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including asset management, LOD systems, and shader optimization.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation software such as 3ds Max.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.


The initial project is expected to take 2-3 months, with potential for an ongoing engagement.   We will contact selected candidates to discuss the engagement in more detail to provide information sufficient to generate a proposal.
