As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking a talented and driven Technical Artist with expertise in Unity to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Technical Artist specializing in Unity at Elite Sports Gaming, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of our cutting-edge sports video games. Working closely with our design and development teams, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, optimized shaders and 3D assets that seamlessly integrate into our Unity-based game environments. From Shader Graph, HLSL, character models and animations to environmental elements and special effects, you will have the opportunity to contribute to every aspect of the game development process, helping to bring our virtual worlds to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create high-quality shaders, 3D models, textures, and animations optimized for real-time rendering in Unity.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows for asset creation, ensuring compatibility with Unity’s technical requirements and performance standards.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and playtesting, continuously refining and improving the visual quality and overall user experience of our games.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in 3D art, game development, and Unity tools and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating high-quality 3D assets for video games.
• Proficient in writing shaders such as shader graph, shader language, or HSHL.
• Highly skilled in Unity3D and a deep understanding of its rendering pipeline, shaders, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with Unity’s Scriptable Render Pipeline, specifically its High-Definition Render Pipeline.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and animation software such as Maya, Blender, Zbrush, and/or 3ds Max.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, with the ability to balance artistic vision with technical constraints and gameplay requirements.
• Adept in rigging character models.

Salary:

Salary is commensurate with experience.
