GRAPHIC DESIGNER / PRODUCTION ARTIST

Elsa L, Inc., a successful and fast paced designer and wholesaler of fashionable gift industry and home decor products (photo frames, wall mirrors, wall decor, seasonal décor and other home décor products) and is looking for an in-house and/or freelance designer. This position works directly with our CEO to design exclusive product for our customers. This exceptional opportunity requires graphic and product design skills, production skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to be prolific and deliver fresh and creative designs in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities

DESIGN / PRODUCTION:

• 
  Hands-on design and illustration skills required
  
• 
  Able to expeditiously execute new concepts and designs
  
• 
  Skilled in typography, composition and color
  
• 
  Ability to Web research to identify trends in style, color and design
  
• 
  Skilled in the preparation of production ready files for print
  
• 
  Able to create technical drawings for product production
  
• 
  Solid math skills for calculating measurements required for product production files
  
• 
  Accurate and detailed with ability to proof own work
  

COLLABORATION:

• 
  Work closely with Creative Director on product design, trend research and internal trend development
  
• 
  Work closely with Product Development Team to develop designs within product cost parameters
  
• 
  Work with Sales and Product Development on presentations, mocks and packaging.
  

COMPUTER:

• 
  Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (PC based preferred but Mac is OK)
  
• 
  Web Design a plus

Organized and detailed file management skills

  Have a strong eye for trends, color and typography
  
• 
  Flexible and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
