3D Artist

Our ideal candidate is an artist who is a true 3D generalist. Someone who is highly creative, can multi-task and works well with production deadlines. The candidate must have strong Modeling, Animation, Rigging, and Lighting skills, and be versed in current rendering technology. The artist will create a wide variety of Models for Characters, Simple Scenes, Props, possibly Vehicles, and lots of particles for Slot, Keno, and Poker video gambling games. This person must thrive on working together with a small team where every member is involved throughout the production process. We believe that a small, scrappy, and dedicated team of talented people can create amazing gambling games for both Casino owners and players.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create high quality 3D characters, simple environments, and props that complement the game and add to bonus mechanics and player excitement.
• Direction and style of each game is determined with the artist as well as the project leads
• Develop high quality content with fast-paced development cycles.
• Work with the art department creating new concepts, planning, layout and executing the games.
• Work closely with other Artists, Programmers, and QA to create games on our multi-game system.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Work within memory budgets to make sure that game performance is good.

Requirements and Qualifications:

*****MUST BE LOCATED in ND or MT.

• Strong art skills with experience and an understanding of 3D and 2D scene and asset creation, modeling, animation, optimization, texturing, and lighting.
• Ability to work in a multitude of artistic styles, including stylized to fit the needs of the project.
• Must be proficient at Maya and/or Blender.
• Must be proficient at using Adobe products. (mainly Photoshop and After Effects)
• A good understanding and working knowledge of different visual styles.
• Must respond well to criticism and feedback.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Self-motivated individual with a willingness to continue to learn.
