Finite Games Studio is looking for a passionate and creative 3D Environment Artist to join our team! This is an unpaid volunteer role, so please be aware from the start. We’re looking for someone who can take an environment from concept to final game-ready asset, helping to bring the world of our mobile strategy game to life.

About the Game

We’re developing a mobile strategy game that combines tactical decision-making with casual gameplay. The game features a stylized world with low-poly, 2.5D aesthetics suited for mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop environment concepts from briefs and references, creating 2D sketches for fast iteration when necessary.
• Create low-poly, stylized 3D environment assets (including props and other elements) suitable for mobile platforms.
• Use Blender and Unity to produce final game-ready assets.
• Collaborate with designers and team members to refine concepts through feedback.
• Ensure visual consistency with the game’s style and vision.
• Take ownership of environment creation, from initial concept to final game-ready asset.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating low-poly 3D environment assets.
• Experience with Blender and Unity.
• Ability to develop environment concepts and translate them into final models.
• A portfolio showcasing stylized, mobile-friendly environments.
• Self-motivated, creative, and able to adapt to feedback.
