AI-powered, no-code, B2B software
for digital creatives, game developers and studios, enabling them to build production-ready digital clothing in a matter of seconds.
We are looking for assistance on developing a basic inventory of game-ready digital clothing. The requirements of the asset will depend on which client the project is for.
Style: realistic clothing.
Role:
3D artist with skinning and rigging experience, 3 days a week
Start date: June 2024
Engagement: June – September 2024. Possibility of extending contract
Place of work: remote
Candidates from the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly area are preferred.
Tasks:

Be able to open / handle Clo3D / Marvelous Designer / general 3D files

Be able to work with outfit blocks (sleeves, front & back, collars etc) besides full outfits / looks

Process to be compatible with designated end platform + be able to implement into GN3RA.

Experience in
optimized mesh processing (Low / high poly baking)
, understanding of UV, texture baking, submesh creation. We work with humanoid proportions, and realistic style (realism)

Experience in skinning and rigging

Preferably Maya and Blender knowledge

Ad hoc tasks can include skinning and rigging assets without needing optimisation and refit from one avatar to another
Preferred but not a must:

Unity Experience in export/import and set up characters
Requirement (after shortlisting):

Simple art test: Receive CLO file, optimize to 4k polys, bake a normal and curvature map and supply final assets rigged to a basic Unity skeleton.
