Role Overview
As a
3D Artist
, you’ll join a creative content team crafting visually stunning 3D assets — from lifelike characters and weapons to complex environments — all integrated within
Unreal Engine 4.20 and 5
. You’ll work on projects that make a real-world impact in the
virtual military training and simulation
space.
✨ What You’ll Do
- Design and optimize high-quality 3D assets: characters, weapons, props, vehicles, environments
- Import, edit, and integrate assets into Unreal Engine (4.20 & 5) and other real-time engines
- Use industry-standard tools like Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Illustrator, and Character Creator
- Implement PBR texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering
- Master pipelines for converting assets across Unity, CryEngine, Unreal, and more
Top Skills/Tools Required
- Unreal Engine 4.20 / 5 (Asset Integration, Materials, Blueprints)
- 3D Modeling & Texturing Tools (Maya, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Photoshop)
- PBR Workflow & Real-Time Optimization Techniques
- Experience with Rigging, Animation & Character Creation (Character Creator)
- Portfolio showcasing real-time 3D work (games/simulations/interactive media)
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience creating 3D assets for real-time engines
- Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant technical and artistic capabilities
- High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Must be able to work full-time remotely from within Canada
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: CAD $60,000 – $100,000 (Based on experience & portfolio strength)
