Internship – 3D/Animation Artist & UX/UI Designer

About Us: Manuel Creative Studio is a startup with a mission to create a positive impact on the environment and society through sustainable practices, innovative technology, and community development. We are a multidisciplinary creative studio consisting of a sustainable clothing brand, a creative technology studio, and a non-profit organization, all operating within the principles of a circular economy. We are partnering with a Canadian government platform to provide exciting internship opportunities for young and talented individuals.

Job Summary: As a UX/UI Designer & 3D/Animation Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D assets and elements for our sustainable fashion brand’s AR/VR experiences, as well as designing and developing user interfaces for our various digital platforms. You will work closely with our creative director to ensure that our brand’s style and aesthetic are reflected in all aspects of our digital presence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to create 3D models and/or animations for our brand
• Design and develop user interfaces for our various digital platforms
• Develop and produce high-quality content in line with our brand’s style and aesthetic
• Use industry-standard software to produce 3D models and animations
• Keep up to date with industry trends and techniques

Requirements:

• Must be a Canadian student
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
• Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must have a passion for sustainability, technology, and social impact.
• Must apply and register through our government support platform to check eligibility and receive payment.
• Must have experience with UX/UI design and 3D software.
• Must have your own software and equipment for the job.

This is a paid internship with 80 working hours, paying $17.50 per hour, $1,400 CAD in total.
