JANUS Research Group | 3D Artist

JANUS Research is in search of a Hard Surface Modeler with an eye for detail and a passion for creating machines, devices, weaponry, vehicles, and more. In this role, you will use your talents to collaborate with our art team in the creation of game-ready assets and help deliver best-in-class player experience for our DoD warfighters.

Can work REMOTE if in the United States!

Must be able to execute at least 3 of the following at a high level:

• Hard Surface Modeling
• Look-development and Texturing.
• Scene assembly and Lighting
• UV layout
• Sculpting
• 3D Design

Other Requirements

• 2+ Years of experience working as a 3D modeler
• Strong organizational skills and discipline tracking your own work.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to do self-directed learning.
• Ability to follow feedback and instruction from supervisors and leads.
• General understanding of the CG pipeline and the flexibility to be able to play different roles depending on the project

Intimate software knowledge of at least one of the following 3D packages and are familiar with the Adobe products:

• Blender
• Max
• Maya
• Adobe Creative Suite

Bonus software knowledge

• Adobe Creative Suite
• ZBrush
• Substance Designer
• Substance Painter
• Unreal Engine
• Unity
• Must submit a digital or online portfolio demonstrating skillful graphic design knowledge, creativity & execution.

Target salary range: $48,000 – $60,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
