Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Graphic Designer Card Production Artist for a remote role. Responsibilities:
- Graphic Designer Card Production Artist will review custom card, carrier, and envelope artwork provided by customers and ensure compliance with Network requirements and printer specifications
- Provide artwork consulting services with customers in dedicated live sessions, where you will recommend the best design treatments
- Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing to ensure high production quality
- Interact daily with printers to submit order forms, artwork, review digital and physical proofs, address feedback and approve artwork for press
- As a Graphic Designer Card Production Artist, you will track the status of all card and collateral orders and escalate any risks to the timeline
- Manage and catalog artwork and templates with a tight command of processes
- Assist with new product implementation related to new card and collateral features
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of printing processes, including Litho Press and Digital Printing
- Has worked with card manufacturing and personalization sites previously and understands their systems and processes
- Must have experience with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
- Good understanding of Network (Visa, Mastercard) brand standards and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance requirements
- Know how to work with and prepare artwork for various materials; Learning and adapting to constraints and are able to communicate these to non-technical roles
- Able to work quickly but also detail-oriented with strong typographic and layout skills, and outstanding organizational and project management skills
- Should have strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Able to identify process improvement opportunities; Must be able to understand the current state and drive improvements to enhance the customer experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
