About Us
Loot Foundry is a UK-based game development studio creating next-gen gaming experiences inside

who’s passionate about stylised design, character storytelling, and delivering top-tier assets optimised for Fortnite. If you love crafting memorable heroes and villains and want to work at the intersection of art and tech, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, production-focused art role. You’ll work alongside concept artists, technical designers, and animators to create fully realised characters—from blockout to final textured mesh. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of shape language, great fundamentals, and understands what makes a character
pop
in the Fortnite universe.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, stylised 3D characters for use in Fortnite via UEFN
- Model, sculpt, UV, and texture characters from concept to in-game asset
- Collaborate with the team on visual direction and iteration
- Ensure all assets are optimised for real-time performance and memory
- Work closely with riggers and animators to ensure compatibility
- Stay current with UEFN pipeline best practices and Fortnite art style
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing stylised 3D character work
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.)
- Understanding of topology, UVs, texturing, and game-ready asset creation
- Experience with character pipelines and asset optimisation
- Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback in an iterative environment
- UK-based or available to work UK hours
Bonus Points
- Experience creating content for Fortnite or other UGC platforms
- Knowledge of rigging and skinning workflows
- Interest in creature/monster design as well as humanoid characters
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and/or UEFN pipelines
