Job Description
3D Artist, Procedural Environment Artist, Horizon Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a product vision and content development strategy by integrating data, usability studies, research, market analysis, and creative input.
- Drive the success and quality of the content creation, collaborating with producer partners to manage content acquisition and delivery.
- Work closely with partnering Product Manager to recommend and drive content strategy that feeds the overall product success.
- Use persuasive communication to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback.
- Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
- Lead a cross-functional team developing procedural content pipelines following a specific artistic style.
- Drive the development of a world creation process and translate that model to an outsource-based model for scaling content production.
- Proactive in problem solving, prioritization, risk assessment, and effective information distribution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive and demonstrable experience using Houdini to generate spatial layouts and environment assets.
- Directly contributed to art leadership and strategy for 2+ shipped products games or 5+ years live ops.
- Experience driving content creation for multi-medium projects with real-time 3D pipelines.
- Technical understanding of building and ingesting 3D environments, either through hands on experience as an Artist/Art Director.
- Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.
- Expert knowledge of: Maya for environment content creation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a consumer focused technology company.
- Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces.
- Experience in AR/VR.

$149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
