To give a taste of our brand’s popularity, Poppy Playtime was the #2 most searched term on YouTube in the last 12 months in the U.S. (only behind a recent Disney film), and Poppy Playtime has over 5 billion views on TikTok.

Mob Entertainment is looking for a new 3D Generalist with a passion for optimizing polycount and improving performance while retaining the original visuals that will join our team in St Louis.

In this role, you will be responsible for helping our console porting team to create our games on multiple platforms. You will be working closely with the Engineering team as well as working with our Tech Art team to improve materials.

As a successful 3D Generalist in this position, you should be able to quickly get familiar with our products and be able to implement things in a timely manner. The candidate should have an eye for improving and documenting any changes within the game so as to be able to go through certification on varying platforms.

What You’ll Do…

• Take existing 3D models (both Environment Assets & Character Assets) and optimize their polycount, improving performance while retaining the original visuals
• Remake 3D models with proper UVs, allowing lighting artists to properly light scenes using Unreal Engine tools
• Rig and animate 3D Character Assets

To succeed you should have..

• 4+ years of experience as a 3D Generalist (or Technical Artist)
• Unreal Engine 4 or 5
• Shipped game titles
• A strong understanding of Optimization
• Ability to work well in a fluid, changing environment as creative challenges evolve
