Job Description
Before we get into the “fun” stuff, please make sure a link to your portfolio is easy to find. It’s the first thing we look at.
Motion Designer
Have you ever contemplated getting a tattoo of one of the Adobe tools? Do you cry a little on the inside when you see a poorly executed animation in an ad for a brand that can afford to do better? Do you want an opportunity to share and hone your talents on a team with other awesome creatives, while enjoying not having to go into an actual office? If you’re an experienced motion artist and you answered yes to at least the last question, you’re in luck, we are looking for two more artists to join our team on this crazy adventure.
Description
The Motion Designer is responsible for executing spectacular creative for top-tier brands in the entertainment space. Having strong graphic design skills and a working knowledge of After Effects is a must. Works created span a variety of mediums and types including web videos, trailers, digital signage, and video post-production.
Who are you?
You are a creative sponge and a fast learner. In school, everyone wanted to have you in their group projects. Storytelling is your thing and all of your friends want your opinion on the latest movies and TV shows. You study VFX breakdowns for fun in your spare time. You have a positive attitude and are obsessed with making the best creative you can every time you turn on the computer or open a sketchbook.
Who are we?
We are Cynosure Creative Agency, a boutique multicultural marketing agency based in Los Angeles that specializes in digital marketing, with employees all over the country. We’ve been thinking up weird stuff for almost 6 years, and work primarily in the entertainment industry, but we continue to grow into other fields and arenas.
We work entirely remotely and have a matched 401k, as well as contributions to health, dental, and vision. We also have a flexible time off policy, and lots of cute animals we like to include in our team zoom meetings.
While we do work remotely, we do want to make clear that our hours are 8 am-5 pm PT, so this could be difficult for people in different time zones. We are open to hiring people from anywhere in the country, but we want to make sure you’re cool with those hours before you apply.
