Role Description

Are you a talented background artist with a passion for creating enchanting environments? Join our team to design 10-15 unique and imaginative settings for an animated music video aimed at kids and families. These environments will initially be designed in 2D and then brought to life by our 3D team. You’ll work on diverse settings including a bedroom, a castle, a village, and a forest made of candy, among others.

As a background artist, you will:

• Create detailed and engaging 2D environment designs.
• Collaborate with the 3D team to ensure seamless transition from concept to final model.
• Utilize your strong sense of composition and staging to enhance the storytelling.
• Draw inspiration from styles like Zog or Room on the Broom by Magic Light Pictures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2D Animation and Drawing.
• Expertise in Painting and Background Art.
• Strong skills in Concept Art with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the animation industry.
