Newscape Studios inc. | 3D Character Artist (Roblox)

Newscape Studios is a New Media company with experience in delivering engaging experiences to audiences. We are looking to build a team of dependable and experienced Roblox Game Creators to develop and launch an original Roblox Game.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Take character designs from concept/design stage to final 3D implementation in a timely manner
• Model, texture and rig custom character models, ready to be imported into Roblox Studio
• Import the final rigged custom characters into Roblox Studio, ready for animators and programmers to work with
• Collaborate with the animators and programmers to ensure characters will be correctly imported and implemented in Roblox

Qualifications And Skills

• Experience modeling custom characters for Roblox games / Roblox studio experience
• Experience modeling, texturing and rigging 3D custom characters
• Skilled in Blender, Maya or equivalent
• Strong portfolio/demo reel of previous work, ideally showcasing custom Roblox character model

Bonus:

• Knowledge of animation in Roblox Studio using the Animation Editor

Fully remote (Part time / contracted for 3 months)

Pay: Total payment for this contracted role is $8,000 USD. Payment will be broken down into Bi weekly payments of $1,333.33 for a total of 6 payments of part-time (20 hrs) work a week.
