Product:

Omi is a software that makes it seamless for brands to turn their products into photorealistic 3D, insert them into 3D-powered templates, and generate product visuals and AR, with no technical skills, in minutes and for a few euros. Our innovative approach blends digital artist-created assets and generative AI to deliver photorealistic renders and videos, enabling customers to generate stunning product photography.

Our human-sized team is composed, advised, and funded by experts who have worked at Facebook, Instagram, Shutterstock, Zenly, Deezer, Cajoo, Payfit, Believe, and Snapchat. Omi was cofounded by Hugo Borensztein and Paul Borensztein in 2020.

To grow our team, we are seeking a self-motivated Machine Learning / Large Language Model Engineer to join our team and help build a more interactive and immersive user experience on our platform.

Job Description:

As a Senior Machine Learning / Large Language Model Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models or assist in improving and refining existing models as part of our multi-modal services. You will integrate various AI technologies into our platform to enhancing the usability of our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models, with a focus on large language models, generative AI and computer vision applications.
• Refine existing generative AI algorithms to improve current pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision, applying new findings to our product development.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to showcase new features and capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Experience with generative AI model components, including transformers and autoencoders.
• Proficiency with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as LangChain or PyTorch.
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Solid understanding of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex creative challenges independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Availability to travel to Paris each quarter and stay for 1-2 weeks.

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud environments.
• Creation of LLM agents and integration of LLM outputs into code.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Interest in 3D graphics, photography or 3D modelling software such as Blender
• Understanding of computer vision algorithms.
