Our client, a Video Game Company, is seeking a Technical Character Artist to join the team!


  • Collaborate with the art and design teams to define an efficient character pipeline, implement the necessary components of that pipeline, including weight and rigging characters, cleaning motion capture data, organizing animation graphs, and implement animation requirements within Unreal Engine.
  • Developed and maintained animation blueprints, character rigs, and animation systems to ensure smooth and realistic character movements.
  • Work closely with programmers to integrate animation assets, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
  • Serve as the “glue” between Character Art, Animation, Tools, and Engineering teams Requirements
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine and its animation tools.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, rigging, and character dynamics.
  • Experience using Python for automation tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and improve a high-quality character pipeline
  • 4+ years’ experience
  • Familiarity with MotionBuilder and Unreal Engine 4 recommended
  • Blender experience is a plus.

Salary: $100k-$140k
