Onward Search is in search of a

Technical Artist

to become part of the Engineering Design team within a prominent consumer electronics company. In this role, you will not only envision innovative concepts but also bring those ideas to life through practical implementation.

This is a 6-month contract with potential to extend. Can be remote in Los Angeles, CA region.

As a

Technical Artist

you’ll:

• Convert designs into technical assets for digital products.
• Explore new and existing tech for creative enhancements and novel ideas.
• Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and iterate on content prototypes.
• Rebuild design comps using internal frameworks and collaborate with engineering partners to enhance tools.
• Embrace production work, ensuring pixel-perfect precision and obsessing over details.

Technical Artist Skills & Experience needed:

• Modify assets within the framework, focusing more on production aspects while maintaining a design eye and cross-disciplinary expertise.
• Proficient in shaders, real-time graphics, and familiar with visual programming languages.
  
  
• Possessing expertise in VFX, 3D, and video, with animation experience for iOS and macOS platforms, including proficiency in ShaderToy.
• Proficient in coding and generating visual outcomes.
