Job Title: 3D Compositing Artist

Job Overview:

A 3D Compositing Artist integrates 3D elements with live-action footage or other digital assets to create seamless, realistic final shots. They work closely with the VFX and animation teams to ensure that lighting, shadows, and colors are harmonized, creating a cohesive look for each scene.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate and composite 3D assets with live-action plates, ensuring consistency in lighting, color, and depth.
• Use software like Nuke, After Effects, and Maya to align 3D elements with camera movements and perspectives.
• Work with the VFX supervisor to match shots to creative direction and quality standards.
• Add depth and realism to scenes through layering, lighting adjustments, and visual effects.
• Troubleshoot and refine scenes based on internal and client feedback.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in compositing and 3D software (e.g., Nuke, After Effects, Maya).
• Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and color grading.
• Experience with camera tracking and integration of CG assets in VFX.
