Our mission has been to answer every question a consumer might have about mattresses, sleep, and sleep health, to ensure that every consumer finds the right mattress for them–even if it’s not ours. Over the past few years, we have grown our product portfolio to encompass hundreds of home furnishing products. To that end, we’re looking for a S. 3D Artist with experience in designing luxury photorealistic interiors for stills and motion to work on our creative team, to help us deliver the most elevated consumer experience possible.

Your Role

As a Senior 3D Artist, you and our vendor partners will create all of our mattress and furniture products and the beautiful luxury interiors they live in. We have started to go completely CGI for all of our photoshoots and many of our marketing videos – we want to take it to the next level. You will be working on 3D models and environments for social media, banners, print, TV, Youtube and our website. All of your work will be designed to delight consumers and make our brand irresistible to them.

The ideal candidate is a practical 3D superhero who can execute and generate beautiful photorealistic interiors and furniture products. You have experience in all aspects of CGI from concepting, modeling, lighting and animation to high polygon renders with experience in developing luxury interiors that people dream to live in. You know that there is no such thing as innovation and creativity without a process that enables you to perform at your best.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our creative team to conceptualize a range of interiors based on marketing briefs and brand strategy.
• Lead CGI brainstorm sessions designed to generate concepts that visually differentiate our CGI rendered interior design for use in brand marketing.
• Oversee and execute on-brand CGI products and interior environments.
• Tirelessly champion the Saatva brand by ensuring all solutions are loyal to our company brand and business goals.
• Create and maintain a CGI brand library and be able to contribute to new product launches.
• Execute CGI assets ensuring they are innovative and stimulate intended behaviors in our target audiences.
• Execute work as needed, rolling up his/her sleeves, providing overall CGI direction and strategy.
• Continually study trends and maintain best design practices.
• Incorporate design direction and feedback from VP of Creative.

Requirements:

• 6 + years’ experience, within a CGI or 3d agency or internal department
• A relevant and diverse portfolio that includes examples of CGI products, furniture and photorealistic luxury interiors (bedroom, living room etc.)
• Great photo retouching skills (Photoshop)
• Ability to model 3D products from physical product examples.
• A strategic consumer mindset and a demonstrated understanding of e-commerce objectives
• Understands and demonstrates good brand consistency regarding the use of CGI in campaigns and is a brand champion.
• Knows how to meet deadlines and work well within a team environment.
• Knows how to help maintain an extensive digital asset library.
• Experience in interior design a plus
• Expert skills in either 3dMax, Maya or other similar 3d software
• Experience with modeling, using model libraries, textures, lighting and rendering up to 4k resolutions.
• Communicates well and can tackle multiple projects, while keeping a positive outlook
