Character Artist – metaverse/tech/web3 – up to £45k & benefits – fully remote

Our client is a forward-thinking tech company that create cutting-edge immersive experiences for global brands. They are seeking an experienced 3D Character Artist to join their dynamic team. This role is fully remote with benefits such as health & wellbeing support, pension, 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, and biannual social team meetups including trips abroad!

As 3D Character Artist you will be an expert in creating realistic avatars and objects for virtual worlds using photogrammetry, modelling techniques, and specialist 3D design software such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or similar industry standard programs. You will work alongside a Lead Artist as part of a forward-thinking creative art and development team. In this exciting 3D Character Artist position, you will play an integral role in the creation of innovative 3D creative virtual solutions for a range of industries.

Our client is looking for a passionate 3D digital artist to collaborate with keen interest in keeping up with the latest trends and developments in 3D art and technology. Using your growing knowledge of 3D artwork/tech/metaverse/web3, you will contribute to generating creative ideas that push boundaries in this growing industry!

What do I need?

• Experience working on varied projects in a fast-paced environment
• A strong portfolio with examples of 3D character modelling and texturing for real-time applications
• A background in using 3D software – such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush
• A love of working with photogrammetry techniques and software – RealityCapture, Agisoft Metashape
• A good working knowledge of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflows
• A passion for 3D artwork and technology
