• Project Description

Me and my team are currently in the process of producing a possibly game-changing 3D animated short film that could have the potential to shake up the entire British animation landscape, as well as garner viral success and award consideration. Me and my colleagues have crafted an action-packed animatic, exciting story, stylized 3D models, pitch deck and financial forecast that gives us confidence in the film’s success. We are calling this “The VOODOOVILLE Project”

• Role

Me and my team are currently looking for a determined, passionate, artistic-minded, Digital Artist who can dedicate their time and skill to help bring the the 2D section of the VOODOOVILLE short film to life. This will involve drawing turnarounds of set characters that will play a vital role in the film’s climax.

• Film Synopsis

Spex, our 17 year old timid yet quick thinking protagonist, encounters Joe, a shady person who Spex witnessed getting arrested a day prior. Joe is being heavily pursued by a group of mysterious faceless individuals. Joe stops and pleads Spex for his help. Spex knows he shouldn’t get involved but after brief contemplation, he decides to help Joe anyway. What proceeds next is an action-packed chase scene through the busy fantasy city, which results in a dramatic climax which see’s Spex and Joe escape, but barely. A heated Spex then questions Joe about the suit people and what they wanted. Before Joe can explain, the film ends on this cliff-hanger, leaving the audience wanting more.

• Possible Benefits

This role is strictly volunteer based. We cannot offer payment nor can we offer new volunteers shares. What we can offer at this time is experience, a chance to be a part of something hopefully special, connections, flexibility, and the possibility of paid work in the future if hopefully, our animation Studio takes off. We truly do believe this will lead to something big but we do need your help to bring this to life.
