Team Kraken Hunters | 3D Generalist (Modeling, Rigging & Animation)

Are you a

3D artist passionate about horror games

and looking to build a strong portfolio piece? We are searching for a

3D Generalist (Modeling, Rigging & Animation)

to join our team for up to

4 months

. The primary focus of this role will be to

polish existing 3D models

and, most importantly,

design, rig, and animate two terrifying enemies

that will play a crucial role in our horror game.

Job Description:

This is a

volunteer position

in an independent horror game project. The selected artist will work closely with the

Game Designer

, focusing on refining existing models and creating

high-quality, nightmare-inducing enemy designs

. Tasks will be managed via

ClickUp

, and the work schedule is fully flexible.

While this is an unpaid opportunity, the artist will gain

valuable experience, portfolio material, and credit in a commercial project

upon release.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Model, rig, and animate
  
  two unique and terrifying enemies for the game.
• 
  Polish existing 3D models
  
  to improve their quality and consistency.
• 
  Actively communicate via Discord
  
  with the team, receiving guidance from the
  
  Game Designer
  
  and participating in
  
  feedback rounds
  
  .
• 
  Manage assigned tasks through ClickUp
  
  , keeping track of progress and meeting agreed deadlines.
• Ensure the final assets align with the horror theme and visual direction of the game.

• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Must be proficient in
  
  3D modeling, rigging, and animation

• Passion for horror games and the ability to create
  
  dark, unsettling character designs

  while maintaining regular communication with the team.
