JOB TITLE: Editor/Motion Graphic Artist
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 3 months (potential to extend
PAY RANGE: $75-$85/hr
TOP 3 SKILLS:
- 5+ years of editing and motion graphics experience on video marketing assets and social video content.
- Ability to navigate within Figma.
- Killer knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and a strong working knowledge of Photoshop and other graphics applications.
SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will be a strong audio/visual storyteller who can work in a mobile-first environment and be a strong collaborative partner. You must be proficient in animation with strong capabilities in editing and design, and basic working knowledge of Figma. You’re a conceptual thinker who can take a brief and execute, as well as develop creative ideas and solutions — all with the goal of telling stories successfully and authentically in video and animation format. You should be able to work independently from a brief, prioritize tasks, track essential details, and deliverables across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design (but not limited to) titles, end cards, branding elements, lower thirds.
- Edit and animate marketing assets and social video content.
- Ensure digital assets are delivered on-time in line with expected creative quality.
- Work with editorial, social, marketing, and creative to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Upload videos and final assets to appropriate content management systems.
- Track project details and output across all deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of editing and motion graphics experience on video marketing assets and social video content.
- Strong design, video editing, and motion graphics skills in a deadline-driven environment.
- Understanding of narrative storytelling in combination with core marketing objectives.
- Killer knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and a strong working knowledge of Photoshop and other graphics applications.
- Ability to navigate within Figma.
- Excellent knowledge of current industry standard audio/video formats and codecs.
- Experience with digital content management systems, digital workflows with a deep understanding of how to organize and manage content.
- Demonstrated ability to tell stories across multiple platforms.
- Experience with audio/video production and post-production utilizing current technologies including live streaming.
- Experience in working with digital new media and/or broadcast media production.
- Must be eligible to work in the US.
